WHO ARE WE?

We are a group of pre-nursing and nursing students from the Des Moines Area Community College Ankeny and Urban campuses.

Our goal is to further prepare nursing students for their profession by becoming involved in their community, attending the state student nursing association's legislative day, inviting speakers to meetings to teach us about employment after graduation, and holding workshops to help build re​sumés.

​

We meet once a month on Monday afternoons at 1 and try to alternate meetings between the Capitol Center downtown and the Ankeny Campus (currently all meetings are virtual via Microsoft Teams).

We want to be prepared and productive members of the nursing profession and the healthcare community when we graduate.
